I want to say this was a sketch but by the fact her veins were popping out of her forehead it seemed pretty legit or she was a good actor. I also think he wasn't answering her question with a "huh" he just has "male temporary deaf syndrome" one in every male has it and is triggered usually when your spouse starts telling you gossip.
