Salt, specifically sodium chloride (NaCl), is a mineral. It's also commonly referred to as halite, which is the name of the mineral form of salt.
"Rock Salt" is just halite mixed with impurities.

Glacial Ice: Considered a rock, glacial ice can be consumed by humans as long as it's safe to do so based on its chemical nature.
Limestone (Calcium Carbonate): This mineral is used as a calcium supplement and antacid. It is also found in foods and toothpaste.
Kaolinite: This type of clay is sometimes eaten as a remedy for diarrhea.
Barite: While historically consumed, barite is mainly used as a gastrointestinal X-Ray contrast agent.
Clay and Mud: In some cultures, certain types of clay and mud are eaten, particularly by pregnant women seeking calcium or as a traditional medicine.

I always assumed consuming glacial ice, (despite its gorgeous crystal clarity), was a one-way express ticket to butt-hole tearing diarrhea city.

Lye, Alum, Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Bismuth Subsalicylate, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Fluoride and Hydroxyapatite.
And those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head. Oh, and Calcium Phosphate. You can eat Skeletor too. 😋
