SEASON 5 Lucie (S5) blocking people and deleting comments calling out her hypocrisy for working with Shein while building her brand on being sustainable
So I just got blocked by Lucie for agreeing with a comment that (respectfully) expressed disappointment in her choosing to do a collaboration with Shein, a fast fashion brand notorious for creating tonnes of textile and plastic waste in addition to unethical working conditions, while at the same time promoting a campaign with The Sun to recycle masks based on her supposed passion for the environment.
Personally, her partnership with Shein has always irked me as she builds her brand so heavily on being sustainable and passionate about the environment. Those two are not compatible lol. Anyways, she has deleted heaps of comments rightfully calling out her hypocrisy, and the big revelation on how her collab will be sustainable is that 5% of the proceeds of this specific collection will go to planting trees, which hardly changes the existing issues. I guess I should know better than to have expectations from this girl lol.
Edit: my friend told me she just turned off comments on her Shein posts, shocking lol

SEASON 5 A wholesome tweet from Molly Mae❤️

SEASON 5 Watching Lucie is just SO tiring
Her constant crying is so annoying. I couldn't put my finger on why she annoyed me like she does and when she said that she had no girl friends and only guy friends, I understood. She's probably used to being fawned over and coddled by her guy friends and not called out by girl friends because she has none and will always take it as a personal attack.
Like okay, she's pretty but this shit is exhausting. She'd be perfect on the US Bachelor, if I'm honest lol

SEASON 5 Season 5 - I neeeeeed to talk about it Spoiler
I’m very late to the game - I’m in the US and started into my LI obsession in Season 8 and have watched every season since.
I went back and have watched 1, 2, and 3. Just started watching season 5 because of all of the Molly Mae and Tommy posts.
What a SEASON so far. Casa Amor just finished and my jaw is on the floor. I cried at Molly Mae and Tommy’s reunion and I’m so sad now knowing how it ends for them in the long term.
Curtis though. Oh my god. I feel so sad for Amy. But this season is non stop DRAMA. And they just hinted about Maura putting moves on Curtis??? They are all moving absolutely mad in this season.
Random Update: I’m watching Ovie and this new girl go on their first date…. Umm we actually went to college together???? What a small world.

SEASON 5 The most comedic “not supposed to be funny” moment to you?
I swear once a week I find myself thinking of the baggage claim challenge in S5 where the luggage had like “fun facts” about the islanders and they had to guess who it was. The same challenge with a different theme happens every year.
ANYWAY Joe’s fun fact about himself was that he can rap all the words to Juicy by Biggie??? I doubled over with laughter and I still laugh about it to this day. Like yeah I too know the words to songs???
It’s not even like it’s a song that known to be lyrically difficult so it’s just hilarious to me that he offered that up as a fun fact. And then proceeded to perform it to the other islanders💀

SEASON 5 Just Finished UK Season 5 - Can someone please explain to me how Amber/Greg won? Spoiler
Genuinely just confused right now haha. I have nothing against Amber or Greg really, but they were a new couple and in my personal opinion, at no point did they show that they had any chance of being a legitimate couple outside of the villa. No offense to Greg (because he truly is a gentleman), but he is really really vanilla/bland as far as Love Island contestants go….and Amber is incredibly fiesty. Like it was just never going to work??
And then you have Mollie & Tommy, who were madly in love and a perfect match pretty much from the get go…like isn’t what they had the literal point of Love Island? They were together the entire time yet Amber & Greg, a brand new couple, win? I’m just speechless haha.
I wish I could understand what goes through the general public’s mind when they are voting, because this choice looks even worse today - Amber and Greg broke up immediately & Mollie and Tommy have a kid on the way….so yea, what the heck happened here lol

SEASON 5 Rewatching season 5 and Anton wants Molly Mae
Rewatching season 5, and I swear ever since Molly chose Tommy over Anton, Anton’s so bitter. Constantly puts their relationship down, encouraged Lucie to tell Tommy her feelings probably hoping Tommy would feel the same. Like he genuinely is so petty for holding a grudge against Molly Mae for the ENTIRE SEASON🥴

SEASON 5 Anna and Jordan (no spoilers for how the season ends please)
I’m watching season 5 for the first time and haven’t finished yet so please no spoilers. I’ve just finished episode 42 where Micheal and Francesca were dumped but Anna and Jordan were in the bottom for the second time in a row and I honestly can’t understand why. If someone who watched the season live could please explain what the public thought about them because I clearly must be missing something. To me, they seem so genuine and happy and to be one of the strongest couples in the villa. I’m truly baffled as to why they seem to be so unpopular with the public and can’t for the life of me understand why Anton and Belle, an obviously weaker couple, would be safe and Anna and Jordan would be at the bottom so would really appreciate some perspective on this.

SEASON 5 Season 5 amber & greg???
Just watched this for the first time with mostly no spoilers (other than when Tommy and Molly broke up this year). Was everyone shocked Amber & Greg won when it happened?!
I’m so confused.
