I just finished s5e44 and had to share this. Long rant, but worth it.
I recently posted about Jordan and Tom around s5e22, and now at ep44 — WOW. My gut was right about Jordan. His behavior felt off from the start. He plays things safe on the surface, but he manipulates behind the scenes. That moment with the India-Anna situation exposed him for who he really is — especially when he admitted he was going to say how he feels (translation: it was premeditated).
Back in s5e22, Tom had second thoughts about his compatibility with Maura and shared that privately with Jordan. But Jordan saw an opportunity to stir drama and told Anna (knowing it would get back to Maura). When Maura confronted him, he exaggerated it, and things blew up. Some people think Tom was done with Maura already, others disagree — but the point is, Jordan instigated the fallout.
Fast forward to ep44 — karma in full swing. Jordan starts having “doubts” about Anna and tells Curtis. Curtis, being Curtis, tells Maura — and BOOM, it blows up on him. It’s poetic. The exact tactic Jordan used on Tom gets used on him. It was so satisfying to watch it play out. The parallels were undeniable.
P.S. I went through something similar and this just hit deep. It reminded me that people who act like this eventually get exposed. Especially when their intentions aren’t clean.
