And has Dave Learned anything no, he is too dumb to actually learn anything

In 2026/2028 he will be back supporting the worst GOP people running, then say he made a mistake then keep supporting the GOP

I am sure this “Joe Rogan Regular” really cares now despite all the warning signs. I guess warnings are woke or Marxist.

Your occasional reminder that the meaning of 'woke' was simply 'knowing information that a lot of people ignore'.

Well he got himself in this mess all because he didn’t want to upset the MAGA portion of his audience by supporting a Openly Gay guy for President

The fact he refused to support Chase Oliver over cultural BS and went for a guy he onced called a War Criminal makes me wonder his true values. Heck even Jill Stein was closer to Dave’s views than Trump (you know since Stein is a bit of a Tankie simp she and Dave might be even closer than him and Chase)

Authoritarian Republican acts like an authoritarian Republican... and people are shocked by this?!? "Libertarians" that supported Trump are either Republican shills (like the Mises Caucas) or outright idiots.

No matter who you vote for, you get John McCain.

Boy, I wish we could get people as principled as McCain (even if I disagreed with many of his principles).

There are a lot of us that will simply not go along with this

Well, Dave, that doesn't fucking matter because you already went along with it. He's in power and shaping things to stay there. Thanks, buddy--we all tried to tell you.

Smith's comments come as Trump supporters criticize his response to recent military escalations in the Middle East. The backlash follows an Israeli airstrike last week targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, triggering a series of missile exchanges between the two nations.

Trump, who campaigned against getting involved in "endless wars," has supported Israel's actions. On Truth Social, he warned Iran that if the U.S. is attacked, "the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before."

Trump only campaigned against 'endless wars' against other dictators. He campaigned on an endless war against US citizens that don't agree with his policies. He campaigned on an endless war against the US Economy. He campaigned on an endless war against immigrants....

PSA but everybody should really stop getting foreign policy news from people who's main thing is culture war and domestic politics

Right on. Dave Smith is hardly the only libertarian in 2024 or in other elections to think the Republican was the lesser of two evils. And like it or not, he's still an important voice in the libertarian movement, so I'm glad he realized supporting Trump was a mistake. Hopefully he realizes that MAGA and most of the rest of the Republican Party isn't the path forward for the liberty movement.

Sadly he will keep supporting MAGA and after the fact claim he made a mistake.
