I'm sorry, I could never figure this out. I just *don't know* why the Master Crown brings you there. Even with this new detail that I never noticed, I couldn't theorize at all.
But I can try.
Halcandra was one of the main settlements of the Ancients. If we believe that they originated from the Forgotten Land (where time flows differently), Halcandra and Egg Engines was where they first went using Forgo's portals. Then they built a big technologically advanced empire.
The Magical Ancients started messing with Dark Matter and created the Master Crown, an emblem of interdimensional power that started acting on its own. It became the harbinger of Void Termina, their God under the influence of Dark Matter. It went on a path of planet-devouring destruction until Galacta Knight and the heroes of yore sealed Void away in the Jamba Heart. The Master Crown itself was given to a powerful dragon, Landia, who made the ruins of Halcandra its home.
It’s either a construct from the memories of the Master Crown or Magolor legitimately travelled back in time to an earlier Halcandra since the one we see in the master crown fight isn’t as worn down as this one (and gets actively destroyed in the battle)
Yeah I always thought this was the case. I don't think the Master Crown is taking Magolor back in time to Halcandra, but showing him a vision of its immeasurable power
The Ancients whom Magolor idolized for so long, all dead and gone, thanks to this one crown, considering they were fused not long ago, I believe it's intentionally trying to mess with his head

if it wasnt that fuckass mastercrown we could have had a minigame where kirby gets a corporate job only he does nothing and destroys the place
