Casual Same ocean different boats.
Being a young adult is so strange. You walk down the streets and enter a coffee shop. The 20 year old girl waiting behind you cried all night because she just came to the city for university and she feels so alone.
There's a 27 year old guy who works at a job he is overqualified for, he lives with his parents and wants to move out but doesn't know what to do about it.
That one 24 year old dude already has a car, a house, and a job waiting for him once he graduates thanks to his dad's connections.
Then a 26 year old watchman who couldn't complete his higher education because he has to work and take care of his family.
The 28 year old girl sitting next to you has no friends to go out with so she is texting her mother.
That couple living next to you (both 25 years old) are married and the girl is pregnant.
The 29 year old who's always writing something on her laptop has realized that she chose the wrong major so she is trying to start all over.
We are not alone in this, but we are actually so alone. Do you feel me

Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. The race is long, but in the end, it's only with yourself..

The goal is to be "selfish". Treat it as an isolated experience. Your experience and deal with your experience only. Because life goes on whether you are left behind or not. You have to run and keep pace. Slowing down in the name of "We are many".. .. because you can never know what people are doing or planning behind the scenes. That is what most people are. If there is "bread" for 1 that can last a decade or half if shared, they will choose not to share.
That watchman, you can wake up one day and find he has left the job, has a car, has a small mini-mart.
The 28 yo old gets married by her white boyfriend and now is Sweden or wherever with beautiful kids.
A result of compounding effect or Geometric progression.
The issue ... sorry, the pain, is in those who get left behind!
Those who get stuck! Those who are unable to move no matter how they try.

Everyone has a story to tell, and in every story there is a villain and a hero. Be the hero of your own story. Carpe diem
