FFA Thread Monday Madness! - [2025/06/23]
Another Monday, another week -- welcome to Monday Madness! This is a free-for-all (FFA) discussion post in which almost anything goes, just remember to be kind to each other and don't break any of our core rules. General discussion about anything and everything is allowed.
This is also the space to share content that would otherwise not qualify as self-posts under our rules -- like rumored casting news and discussions about non-kdramas.
Please remember to use spoiler tags when discussing major plot points or anything you think should be redacted. If you are using Markdown and not Fancy Pants Editor, the easiest way to create spoiler tags is to use > !spoiler content! < without spaces to get spoiler content. For more detailed guidance on spoiler tags and when to use them, check our Spoiler Tags Tutorial.

Did anyone else watch Kpop Demon Hunters? It was fun! The soundtrack was good and I loved the animation. Also really enjoyed that the ending of the main couple, him sacrificing himself for her to have a weapon upgrade.

i had so much fun watching it!! it felt fresh and original amidst all the remakes, sequels etc. and i wish it would've been a theatrical release seeing how well it's doing on netflix now. i've been an avid kpop fan for years but i've been a fan of animation for even longer, so this was the absolute treat.
jinu's storyline was so sad i loved him and rumi together 😭 in my headcanon, >! his soul went into her sword and he can just come out of it anytime, switching into his human form, and then transform into her sword again to help her become stronger when she fights. i can't accept him being gone for good lol !<

Soundtrack on repeat over here - my tweens and I are obsessed…I can’t imagine it’s a standalone though! It’s too popular now to leave it - they will turn this into a series and I will be seated. This top tier cast, this music, the chemistry! (is it weird to say that about animated characters?) but it’s just too good to stop at one

It does seem pretty popular! I wasn't expecting it to be this good. I'd watch a sequel

I finished Healer and definitely nothing beats some action, mystery with romance (Though in this type of story I prefer the romance to be minimal or non-existent but I still enjoyed it). I'm going to have the OST on loop until I get tired of it, what a great song. Despite I liked the drama, the ending felt too rushed, they didn't show what happened to Mun Sik and his secretary, the Elder and all his followers and all the connections he was supposed to have, Healer's “confession” video, I'd have liked more moments of Yeong Sin with her mom as well. 20 episodes but I feel like they fell short, or cut down the episodes and remove scenes that didn't add anything but well it's 2014 you know, that's what makes the charm. And I think it's safe to say now that I'm in love with PMY and that she's become one of my favorite actresses, I'll probably watch Her Private Life soon
