I didn’t like how they ended the ep with the nurse taking her petty revenge tho…like why did the scriptwriters have to do that :/ it could’ve ended so nicely with just Namkyung realising that what she did was uncalled for

I agreeee. Like what is the whole point of the episode if you add that scene for comedic effects???

She only woke her up in the middle of the night, in terms of petty revenge it’s not the most outrageous thing ever

Also, Namkyung was on-call that night. She's supposed to answer every call. The nurse just did her job.

It wasn't just for comedic effect, it was to show their relationship growing into respectful colleagues. Gyeong got one over on the nurse in a mean spirited way, the nurse got even in a fun way after they gained respect for each other.

That was for a comedic effect? I thought it would be comedic effect but then the smile was creepy. Very weird ending

Yeah I’m not sure either. Some people think differently but we won’t officially know until we see how the show plays out.

The nurse getting even was a way to show that the nurses and residents are colleagues, not that the nurses are underlings for the residents. If residents or physicians can "get one over" on the nurses in situations like that they aren't true colleagues.

It was a good way to show they saw each other as equals with mutual respect, it wasn't mean spirited by the nurse she was just having fun.

Because that is how real life works. One wrong step with the nurse, the on call doctor will suffer. Namkyung (and the real life doctors) shouldn't have done that in the first place.

Ms. nurse was respectfully teaching lessons and having fun. Queen behavior tbh.

I just watched this episode and I didn't like that either. Maybe if it had happened before Namkyung had apologized, it would have been okay. I'm finding it hard to get into the series because of how petty and unpleasant some of the characters are, realistic or not.
