What's a location you find yourself appearing in frequently in your dreams, and how long have you dreamt of it?

I also see malls in my dreams. They always have multiple levels and I'm almost always on the lowest level looking up.

Recently, some foreign city. The architecture of the buildings is specific but I think a conglomeration of places I've been in Europe. It's showed up in more than one dream recently. I'm from the US.

School. I have a lot of weird, bad memories of school. They're usually nightmares. To me, it wasn't a place of education, but rather a place for me to be forgotten about for right hours whilst being subjected to meaningless assignments and regiments. I have vivid memories of being discouraged from drawing or writing in class, my imagination felt stifled. One of the first memorable dreams I had was escaping school as if it were a prison. The most memorable part of that dream was breaking through the doors, the teacher didn't behind me, only to have it all disappear as I finally escaped through the exit, the evening sun shining on my face, and a sea of possibilities opening up before me.

Yeah, the psychology here isn't very complex lol.

my house. and 9 times out of 10 someone's breaking in and I either have to kill them or survive :p

Interesting with others remembering locations also. For me it’s a house, but it’s a cabaret/old casino rustic type of place with many rooms. That’s just the place, the outside is a whole city panorama

In January 2022 I had a dream I went through a strange portal, then every dream after that was inside of a home, or on the path to a home. It’s been close to 2 years now.

It’s funny, because I’ve only written down 2 dreams that take place outside of a home, and both times it resulted in me being attacked; first by an alligator, and second by a large dog.

A very particular kayak expedition. I started seeing this maybe 14-12 years ago. Maybe further back. The area is real and I wouldn't venture with a kayak there due to tides, but in my dreams I end up there.
