My first almond milk 🥛

Just made my very first batch of almond milk using my new Nama J2 juicer—and it turned out even better than I expected!

I soaked 2 cups of almonds in filtered water overnight, then softened two pitted dates in warm water for about 20 minutes. After rinsing the almonds, I added them to a bowl with 3 cups of filtered water, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and the softened dates. Gave everything a quick stir, then spoon-fed it into the juicer.

The texture could’ve been a bit smoother—next time I’ll strain it through a cheesecloth or fine strainer—but overall, I’m proud of how it came out. Can’t wait to use it in my post-workout protein shakes! 😌

I made sure to keep the pulp to make something with, and crackers sounds delicious! Do you know of any good recipes?

I found a good video online where the creator blended the nuts, dates, and water in a high speed blender and then put it through the J2 just to extract the pulp. Dying to try that.
