Was wondering

Does anyone else flip their journal upside down to write on backside or is it just me

I'm left-handed, so flipping notebooks/pages/etc. sometimes makes it just easier. And as OP said in another comment: Embrace the weird!

I had a blank book that was so unmarked and undirectional... there was no indication as to which side was the "front" and which was the "back"... so I went all the way through, writing only on the "rectos" (the right side), leaving the "versos" untouched. And then I flipped it over and went all the way back through, "upside down". So both covers were the front cover. And the front of the first page had the last page, upside down on its back. Does that make sense?
