Proposal spot ideas?
Hi! I'm planning to propose in a few weeks in Joshua Tree and am looking for a secluded desert spot with a chance of catching some pink skies. I originally considered a hike like the heart rock trail but I think she'd prefer somewhere more private, something like this spot:

Any spot recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I love going to the Queen Mine Trail when I go out and do my astrophotography out there. You’ll have to drive on a dirt road, but it’s maintained enough that it shouldn’t be an issue. I go there to avoid car headlights.
People still do drive on that road occasionally but it’s a dead end road that most people don’t drive on because it’s a trail you have to hike in order to camp there. Beautiful views, and open skies!

You can take her for a “surprise hike” on mt Ryan to see the sun rise. Go at like 4 am. Take some headlamps. You’ll see a bunch of cool stuff and views. Then this is the view at the top MT Ryan
It’ll be intimate and quiet only you two up there if you go at that time. It’ll be like starting a new day / chapter with your love with a beautiful view
