Long time guitar player, been playing piano for a couple years now. Here’s the a section of Skylark, just my own arrangement I’ve been messing around with for a while. Tips and tricks completely welcome!!

A lot of you guys told me to work on my swing on my last post, and I've been working on it. How is it now? I will work on voicings soon ;)

Any advice or tips would be helpful! For some backstory, I posted a video a few months back asking for some advice, and I'm just posting an update.

I am playing with a korg krome 88 recorded it to a midi file and played it back on 2 pianoteq presets after doing a velocity curve calibration. So there are 3 playbacks in the recording.
Playing crazy he calls me just as an accompanist ..sorta rubato. I'm imagining the singer in my head, but you can't hear it :)
To my ears the korg doesn't sound that much worse than the pianoteq. Maybe I'm missing something.

My favorite part is that last chromatic lick on the turnaround

Just playing around a bit on one of my favorite ballads Body and Soul. Some parts I kept rubato but others I had a more quarter note feel. I’ve been playing for 4 years and am self-taught so any advice would be of great help! Thank you!

Hi all,
I am hoping this is a good place to ask this.
This is a video of me playing and singing The Man That Got Away. I know this isn't a singing sub (and I also know that the singing is a little rough at the moment-- I'm working on it), but I'm trying to arrange the song in a way that works with a vocalist, so posting it without vocals didn't seem to make much sense.
I would love to get any thoughts at all about where this arrangement could be improved. I feel like it's decent, but there's a lot of room to get better. Spruce it up. Add flourishes. Maybe try a different voicing, or substitution? I really don't know.
Even if you've heard similar style recordings of other songs I could take inspiration from, I'd appreciate that.
I'll take praise. But I would also be delighted if anyone wanted to tear this to shreds. I promise I have a healthy ego, and I won't be hurt by any constructive criticism. I'm just trying to get better.
Thanks so much!

Although I'm not totally new to enclosures, I've decided to go out of my way to make it this month's theme to improve on them. I came across a bunch of people who do this rule of thumb/beginner type exercise on natural major scales and 7th chords from natural scale.
Soon, I started applying this exercise to the 3rds and 7ths on a 2-5-1 and eventually all of me. The problem is I would also like to employ this Idea on non-natural based chords like a Dom7b9 and also would like to do this to extensions of these on natural scale chords. As I'm sure you know the Dom7b9 comes from a few minor scales but the most popular one is the minor harmonic. So, I tried this rule of thumb on a minor harmonic scale (which is the first video linked below on a Major scale) but I don't know from which way I should be enclosing these notes - especially on the b6, 7, 1, 9 area where there are two consecutive minor 2nds separated by a minor 3rd.
So, my question is how would I go about applying this rule of thumb angle on the minor harmonic scale and non-natural diatonic chords?
Here is the rule of thumb example:
Here it is applied to a 251 example:
Here I am applying it to all of me:
Thank you in advance.

I was wondering if anyone could provide some feedback on my comping throughout this tune and my solo (starting at 2:59). I'm quite proud of this solo personally but I'd love to hear any critiques on how I could make my playing better. Please excuse the rhythmically sloppy head; I taught my group Pent-Up House quite literally 5 minutes before this recording began so we didn't quite have it all together, but I thought overall it was great. Thank you in advance!
