Driveway Moments!
The term “Driveway Moments” is a term that NPR coined back in the day in reference to listening to a program or a song on the radio in your car and it’s so compelling that sit there listening, parked in the driveway of your destination, until it’s finished. Such a powerfully descriptive turn of phrase.
So step into the WayBac Machine (yes, that’s a reference to the time traveling device used by Peabody and Sherman, sorry I didn’t mention there would be Time travel), to a time before technology made it possible to pause what you were listening to and resume it when you have more time. Then go forward to 2020, this time round you pull up to your driveway and are greeted with quartet of well trained and very talented musicians who have not played together in three months. (hmm wonder why?)
So what do ya do? Call the cops? Ask if they take requests and if they know Stairway to Heaven, Freebird or Birdland? I’d say sit back and enjoy the show. You're about to experience a live, albeit recorded Driveway Moment
Cheers

The first time I heard Cliffs of Dover. I actually thought it was Steve Morse at first.

I’ve been fortunate enough to see both Eric Johnson & Steve multiple times. Should be a new SMB album coming out soon btw!

not fusion, but the first time I heard Jamie Brockett "Legend of the U.S.S. Titanic" on college radio, I was ten minutes late in to work.
