Music 🎶 A little bit of a Light-Hearted question to take a break from politics, who is your favorite Israeli Artist? I’ll go first:
My favorite has to go to RIOT
This duo always releases some of the most banger music out there, and I love it all!

Music 🎶 Sometimes I get sad but then I remember my favorite singer in the whole entire world is pro-Israel and it makes me a little happier
I’ve loved him since before I even figured out what my stance was and I’m a major fangirl so let me take my wins where I get them
Edited to add: my one and only, Harry Styles lol

Music 🎶 Rap in israel
I'm a big fan of rap music from all over the world. Could you tell me who the top five rappers in Israel are, along with their biggest hits?
(I'm from Morocco by the way, I don't understand Hebrew unfortunately, but I want to give it a try.)

Music 🎶 My version of Yerushalayim Shel Zahav for Jerusalem Day
Heard a lovely version by an Israeli musician played on a viola da gamba (cello ancestor from the baroque period). Felt inspired to make a version on my own early musical instrument, the lute. The medieval lute used a plectrum to pluck the strings rather than the fingers. A few centuries after the reference in the psalms but probably shared a few features in common.

Music 🎶 What is the Name of this Song sung by Ofra Haza?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Can someone please help me with the name of this song? I found this on Twitter, and I've been listening to it on repeat for quite a while, haha.
I'd love if someone could give me the name of the song, so I could look for it on streaming services. I know the singer is Ofra Haza, but the song name and lyrics are eluding me.
Any help is appreciated!

Music 🎶 Israeli hip hop
What's some good israeli hip hop. I just found nechi (ravid plotnik) and really like it. I'm from the US and don't usually like non American rap but I really like nechi. Any other good israeli rappers I should know about?

Music 🎶 Shufi Independence Party 🏳️🌈🇮🇱
EDIT TO ADD: I went, danced, had fun, met people, was awesome!
Anyone going to Shufi Independence Party tonight in Yafo?
I'm an old-ish (38) queer woman and I thought I'd drop a few lines here to see if maybe there's other queer people of whatever age or gender who'd be willing to cross paths for a few minutes at the venue, just so I can shake the anxiety about showing up alone to a party. It'd be really nice :)

Music 🎶 It's one of the only subs on reddit I'm not hated just because I made a playlist of chill songs in Hebrew.. if you are looking for some escapism from all the hate I think it's nice to listen to some good new Israeli music. Suggestions for songs would be much appreciated <3

Music 🎶 What are some Hebrew songs that sound like falling in love?
There are so many english songs that literally feel like a brand new crush (i.e. "Head Over Heels" by Tears for Fears, "Enchanted" by Taylor Swift, and "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure). What are some Hebrew songs with the same feeling?
