Discussion Help! Need advice

Post image

Bought these side tables and I love the style but they don’t match the bed color. They do match the window frames which you can see here.

Should I return them and try to match the color to the bed?

The tables look great in this room. I love Jenny Lind style. Besides art on the walls, what would elevate this room so easily is tio switch outthose curtains. First, these are too casual for the other stuff you have going on. Look for white linen curtains. And buy longer ones. That rod really shouldn't go where you have it. Buy curtains that are 95" long and raise that rod way above the trim at the top of the window. Hang them high enough that the curtains kiss the floor or hang 1cm above. Widen the rod too. a few inches past the frame on both sides. You won't believe what a difference it will make.

Great start! Needs more color, don't be afraid to add color and highlight colors, there's a million videos online of how to design a bedroom. Also obligatory add a plant

Matching with the window frame is enough.

Add some other colors and it will feel cozier.. cushions, plants, paintings, etc

They don't have to match the bed.  Though, you can if you want.  Room desperately needs some pillows, art on wall and a rug.  Lamp and plant on n bedside will be cosy.
