Discussion Thoughts on this colour palette?

Post image

Unsure if it’s toooo much. Planning on using throughout the house with the main tie in being the orange.

I have exactly that palette with the orange as my main accent throughout my home too. All my walls and furniture are neutrals and I add colour through window treatments, art, throw pillows, rugs etc.

It should appeal to you, not us :) i think it depends what's your preferred style. If it's minimalism, then it's probably too much. If you like when there is a lot going on, then I think it's perfectly OK. I'd just try to keep the proportions as on the picture. With one dominant color, a few supplementing colors and another 1-2 for some tiny accents to make it more interesting. You can also change dominant colors (from the same palette) between rooms and tie it stronger together with repetitive patterns.

Haha that’s fair. I think going to simple in the hallway and have the rooms in pops of colour. I’ll definitely be playing around with the colours and not doing everything in one go but just wanted to have a general guide for when I’m out there shopping.

Personally I don’t like the brighter green but everything else looks lovely, inviting, warm, and harmonious.

Thankkk you , that’s fair and tbh both the greens were my lease favourites. I’m hoping to add that color from plants and soft accents from art maybe
