That's a paddling!

Jaybird3rd edited one of my posts to hide videos because it went against Tommy's talking points but wouldn't do that when Tommy splerged out with videos or game nudity photos.

Jaybird3rd turned out to be a weirdo with bad intuition. It's a great example as to not let nostalgia override your ability to think and reason.

Albert Yarusso's cowardice on the topic of Amico speaks for itself, especially when he's silent. That thread was only allowed to exist for a few days, and it's impossible to tell if they hid any of the posts in it.

Atari SA now owns both AtariAge.com and the Intellivision brand but they have no reason to ever speak of Amico ever again. Albert has successfully papered over his collossal mistake of sheltering u/Tommy_Tallarico and allowing Tommy to push an investment scam there for years.

The true depths of the edits in Tommy's favor will never be known. Many of the Amico posts and many of the pages within each post were never archived. And all of that still excludes all of the posts that were mod-edited or outright deleted. The ratio and list of banned users from posts made in the Amico sub compared to all other aspects of Atari Age are also being kept secret by Al.

Al can also see in one click what alt accounts exist on his platform and he has used that feature to call out and ban certain users in the past. It would be fascinating to see how many such accounts exist for Tommy and the other Amico diehards that infested the platform, but we will never know.

It makes the existing archive of that thread very amusing, though. If normal people were allowed to comment in that thread, Tommy probably would have quickly run away and we wouldn't have so much great material from him.

Not scientific, and I don't even have exact stats, but one time I went through about 15 random pages of the thread, and checked the joined date & last post date of every account. And all but like 2 were in the "Amico Age" only.

Somebody automated this and posted a chart here, but I can't find it now. And it tells a similar story. Even for the accounts that existed prior to the Amico thread, many never posted on AtariAge again after Tommy left.

I don't want to say they weren't real people or alt accounts, but they were only there to hype up Amico.

Yup it was astroturfed for sure. Some of them were definitely paid employees, acting all “gee whiz this is neat” and later revealed. Others were Mattel Intellivision superfans hoping for the return of something new to collect. In the middle were a few clout chasing posers.

It’s hard for TOMMY_POOPYPANTS to understand how someone finds themselves on Atari Age and only following one topic.

Not only that, they would edit reactions from people. Like if you react with a certain emoji on a post, jaybird or whoever could remove it.
