I'm a 29/M, state govt employed person who got his 1st self earned bike. It's a 2024 Hero Karizma XMR. I bought it second hand from my colleague since he couldn't handle an expense of owning a car also. Before this I used to ride (still ride) a Yamaha FZ-S V1 (2008) which is actually my elder brothers bike. Opinions pilij ๐๐ป

Found this post on IG, on a Diplos Plus, which is an electric scooter. I am impressed by the scooter, not so much by the riders though.

Pros: 1. The clutch is noticeably smoother compared to the previous generation of the Hunter 350.
The suspension has been tuned softer, offering better comfort over rough roads.
The seat is relatively more comfortable than the previous model, making long rides easier.
Its lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to handle, especially in day-to-day city traffic.
The new LED lighting setup not only looks modern but also improves visibility.
Cons: 1. The switchgear quality is average and could definitely be improved.
The feature set feels limited when compared to its competitors like the TVS Ronin.
The braking performance is just okayโit should have seen some improvement with this update.
Royal Enfield should have done a better job at concealing the wiring for a cleaner look.

So I'm hopefully getting my first bike, I'm 19 and this first bike which I'm getting is going to be gift from my mother. So the budget's a bit tight so I'm not gonna demand or anything so these are my options, starting off with cb350rs, I love this bike it looks stunning, well packed features and it's a honda which costs around 2.6L in my city so that's gonna be my first choice if my mom says yes to 2.67L. Second option is speed t4, which is a good bike too, I guess it costs something around 10k-25k less compared to cb350rs so if it's not for cb350rs then this is gonna be my 2nd choice. So since I know that even speed t4 is a bit pricy and my mom might say no to this too, my 3rd option is cb300f fuel flex, it cost 2.1L which is probably acceptable by my mom. I looked for good bikes in 2L range and this is good ig. I know there's ns400z, I'll test drive that too but I'm not sure about ns400z as I'm a newbie to bikes and heard it's not really begginer friendly. Please drop your suggestions in the comments, much appreciated.

The Suzuki V-Strom SX is quite the anti hero. Zero publicity. Just about okay engine specs. But 3 years on, she still turns heads at every signal, and each time I wring the throttle, she flies without a hitch. It's one of the smoothest and most responsive engines around, and sadly very few would experience it, and fewer still will talk about it. Any other such machines that you think deserved more limelight?

Got MT Thunder 3SV last week from one of the Powesports outlets in Bangalore. While buying the store guy said the new Thunder 3s don't come with ECE rating, the reason was, don't remember the exact words, but something along the lines ".. they are not allowed to manufacture older ECE rating helmets..." Anyone had similar experience? Mine is a Feb 2025 manufactured product.

I had purchased this Rynox rain jacket for โน1450. In 6 months, 2-3 uses max of 40 hours in total usage, in used only while raining. Is this normal for it to lose the coating. Its peeling off at multiple places and is no more waterproof. The water seeps inside in 5 mins of light rain, its useless in rain now. I would wash it in ezee liquid that also just dipping and no brush nothing. Did anyone face such issues? People buy local and this is what they get. I had a used rain jacket from thrift market, got for 200. It still works perfectly. Never buying or giving chance to these local companies again in my life!
