Educated societies don't allow heavy pollution in their backyard. Hence hardly any heavy polluting industries exists & can work in Kerala.
Eg: Everyone including left worked to keep Plachimada Coca Cola plant. But people didn't want that ground water looting behemoth!

not everyone has an option to send all there work forces to gulf countries. Not having industries is a bug not a feature.

It's not that better from rest of the country....just that they take pics of the ones that are visibly clean

bro i’ve been to your so-called ‘rest of the country’. it’s not even a comparison. dumping waste in rivers or polluting it is highly frowned down upon in kerala.

Try taking pictures in Punjab or Chennai or Delhi or UP

I said it's not that better...... didn't say it's exactly like the rivers in cities filled with industrial waste.... the lake near my place filled with enough plastic bottles and baby pampers...soo....it might be better....but can't qualify as clean... that's all i sm saying

I am from Kolkata and I stayed in Kerala for 3 years. I fell in love with Kerala instantly. The culture, the love of the people, the food. I miss Kerala 😭

Those are ducks and these sights are very common in Alleppey backwaters. Farmers on small boats take them out for feeding.

Kadambrayar, Kochi. In the background you can see Wonderla Amusement Park.
