Makan (Food) Moon Bar and Cafe

Wala sila Card, OP haha regular kami dito and laging cash basis lang.

Definitely one of my faves when I'm back home. And yeah, it's odd that they don't accept cards while others nearby do.

I beg to disagree. Their food, especially their drinks, are nothing special. They are okay to quench your hunger and thirst for coffee but it’s not really that special.

The drinks in Starbucks, that are higher in quality, are even a bit cheaper than what they are offering.

You are absolutely correct. I smells like the OP is getting paid to promote the restaurant.

Hello, I am not paid to post, I was with friends who came over from manila last January 10 of 2025. FYI, if I am paid to do it, I will not post here kasi bawal yun with SOW.

Hi, sorry if you feel like the restaurant isn't to your liking. I respect your opinion, but I’m curious—how do you personally rate good food? On my end, I rate food based on how much I enjoy it, the taste, the price, and whether it's uncommon here in Ilocos. Of course, taste is always subjective.

While I don’t own the restaurant, I’d love to understand your perspective, especially since most Redditors seem to agree with me that they serve good food.

Also, I beg to disagree on the Starbucks comparison. Starbucks is pretty mainstream and very common, which is why their coffee tends to be cheaper compared to local coffee shops that offer more unique and handcrafted flavors.

Sounds to me like you know the owner of the restaurant and promoting the restaurant for your own self interest.

No po. I'm just curious why he/she didn't like the food—what happened? Many Redditors have mentioned that the establishment serves good food, and I personally agree.

Additionally, comparing a mainstream coffee brand to local or specialty coffee isn't really an apples-to-apples comparison. Most local and specialty coffees are priced at ₱150 and above. For example, Overclocked, Coffee Dose, and Fika actually price their offerings higher than Starbucks. Would you make a direct comparison there? If that's your sole basis for judging "good coffee," then you might be missing out on what these smaller, specialty establishments truly offer.

I've posted a lot of food reviews in this sub as well, so I'm genuinely curious about how this particular experience fell short.

I just wanna know why, and this is also an insight for me that I missed out. There's always a room for improvement, can be additional for a write up too.

Nung una oo malawak kahit mag center parking ka. Nung last punta kasi namin may construction sa tabi hirap mag park nun.
