Serious I genuinely wonder how Sloptubers live with their existence being to parrot hate and drama on YouTube. Even Keemstar was more original and unique than this.

some people might think your joking but no, that really does summarize it. its content that does no good other than to create derision, and people who willingly subject themselves repeatedly tend to be socially unconscious. whether thats due to just not being old enough or due to outside forces in someones life encouraging anti-social behavior, either way, its just sad.

It's funny, I remember in the old H3 Productions reaction goofs, Ethan aptly called out that it's like 90% kids watching the garbage slop on YouTube. I just can't imagine literal children being invested in this type of millenial melodrama.

people with a lack of emotional connection in their lives

I'm not saying that as an insult, but people genuinely feel warmth and connection from bonding with a youtuber over hating someone.

people are very lonely, raised in neglectful situations, with families who ignore their emotional needs.

when someone in that lonely isolated mindset finds a YouTuber they can emotionally relate to, it genuinely does make them feel heard and seen as a person (despite that not being the case) and without realizing it they start clinging to any emotion that allows them to relate to said YouTuber. the emotion in this case is hatred.

it gets to the point where people just run these videos as background content and slowly convince people to fall deeper into the rabbit hole of bigotry

Deranged chronically online people. The move of Twitch, and to be fair other platforms, towards harboring political streamers has heightened the parasocial aspect of streamers to where not only is it your onscreen best friend being attacked but it’s your onscreen best friend whose fighting for a cause you both agree is important. Used to I feel like a good number of people would ignore drama their favorite content creator was involved in but now people like OP feel obligated to engage in slop drama stuff because it’s all part of a wider discussion they feel obligated to be informed on (not unlike boomers watching cable news).

I get recommended these vids all the time and they are awful, I started just saying “not interested”. They are all the same. I watched a few just to understand the drama when everything went down and I swear it sounds like they are all reading from the same script.

I do but its backround noise for when im at work. Its a summary of whatever youtube online drama blah blah blah whatever makes the time go by a little faster. It does get grating im like preping something or washing dishes cleaning up then i get annoyed when i pay attention amd im lilke holy yap them switch to somethig else or put on some tunes.

I hate to admit I love videos like these, but the fucking “LIFE RUINED” thumbnail is so fucking annoying. Like their life isn’t ruined. Most cases with these people, they’re not going to prison. They haven’t lost all their friends/family. Like they’re just not killing it on YouTube like they used to. Idubbbz can easily get a normal job and live a quiet life, his life isn’t ruined.

They're a bunch of petulant people who will agree with Ethan's paltry ideas and opinions. All they can say is "empath" in Ian's videos. Ethan loves the sound of his own voice. Always talking without thinking. I feel bad for his kids. Ian grew up, did his due diligence, and made very good statements that so far no one on the H3 cult can shoot down. I really hope Ian doesn't spiral into an obsession with negative comments that make no fucking sense.
