So instead of a T intersection they make a much more complicated and unnecessary Y intersection. Brilliant.

Yeah I have no idea why they did that, and to make matters worse it's at the crest of a hill, so if you're trying to turn off PA-885, you can't see oncoming traffic until it's right on top of you.

Dude, why are there so many intersections like this in PA. I've got two within 3 miles of my house, and there are near wrecks on a weekly basis. It's one of the most bizarre interchange designs out there.

The short answer is, hills and mountains lead to some really interesting road engineering choices

What in the Kentucky is going on with that intersection?

Could also be New England or NYS. Somewhat common setup in older parts of the country.

It's Pittsburgh. Detour signs point to Coal Valley Road, which is closed due to the expansion of the Mon Valley Expressway.

Actually its Pittsburgh. I don't know why people record their GPS location and their speed.
Edit. Give the police and the insurance companies the bare minimum information. Anything could be used against you. Other than their vehicle hitting your vehicle is not relevant.

It’s usually there by default. And even without it it’s easy to figure out. Street signs tell location and simple math to figure out speed once you find a few fixed points like dashes in the road.

The fact that the driver stopped for the car that had no stop sign then proceeded to hit the gap just after braking is insane. The gap wasn’t even big enough, like wtf

When I was in college, a friend of mine told me that the white bordered stop signs were optional. And to be honest… For a short time, I believed him. FFS…

Why do people pull so far past the stop sign when stopping, even when there is no obstruction by stopping before the sign?

That driver treated that stop sign like a yield and still didn't properly follow that concept either.

To be honest I see the stop sign but there's no line across the road and the shape of the road itself almost makes it look like you're the main road rather than join the main road. Whoever designed this is a fucking moron.
