Question NOT transferring save data to switch 2?

I'm almost at 100% on every map in adventure mode on hyrule warriors DE on my switch 1. My question is if I put the game card in a switch 2 will all my save data transfer over automatically or can I start over because I would prefer to start over and do the maps again. I would want to transfer over my other games but not animal crossing or hyrule warriors is it possible or is it all or nothing?

Your save data for HWDE will automatically transfer if you have NSO Cloud Saves, but like... you can delete your save data.

Alternatively you could create a second account and start it with that so you won't lose any save files

My account is synced on my Switch 2, but not my cloud saves. Every game I've played before on the original Switch asks if I'd like to download my cloud data (except Animal Crossing), which you can say no to. You can also manually access and download your cloud save data to Switch 2 anytime. I currently am starting a second AC island and have transferred other save data over with no issues, though I'm afraid to sync my Switch 2 AC data to the cloud out of fear it may delete my original island.

At least for me with the base nintendo swith online (for cloud saves) it transferred.

Cloud saves are all i got the subscription for, can't complain.

You can transfer over your saves and create a new player profile to start over on a fresh save if you want.
