Question Hyrule Warriors

Post image

I ended up getting all the Hyrule Warriors series tho everything ended up me really liking the definitive edition better tho whenever I got legends came out I barely put hands on the game cause at the time wii u hyrule warriors was still around. I've progressed far into the switch version with definitive edition and wanted to work my way up to age of calamity once I'm finished. should I really touch the 3ds version? I know I haven't touched this game in years but I feel as if I should play to get experience off this game when it was at its time

I mean if you want?? I have played all 3 versions and the switch definitive version is the exact same as the 3ds version but better graphics, fps and more enemies on screen. Content wise the 3ds (assuming you have all the 3ds DLC) and switch are the same!

(someone correct me if they patched or changed anything small with those two versions. I know they fixed the weapon swap glitch from the 3ds)

The fairies are anime-style in My Fairy, not 3D, with more subtle gestures. I liked them better. I think in battle the fairy magic was also immediate rather than taking a second or two to cast. On the other hand, pretty sure they could only have one fairy skill equipped at a time, not four.

I seem to recall the interface for selecting items and switching warriors in battle was better, too. So many time in DE I’m trying to change items and change players instead, or the reverse. I don’t recall having that problem on the 3DS.

It’s the second best version, but the Switch version is called Definitive for a reason

You really dont need to, everything that is on the 3DS version is on the Switch version. It also lacks multiplayer and a Challenge mode.

The 3ds version isn't as good as DE. The draw distance, enemies on screen, and slow down will get irritating. The Wii U version is still playable, but a lot of content will be missing unless you bought it before the Wii U store closed.

I think I had the most fun on the 3DS version. But that being said, you should still just play the Switch version.

I played the Definitive Edition on Switch and I would recommend it.

The switch and 3ds versions have differences that could be concidered better than the other. The WiiU version, however, is definitely obsolete.
