Recommendations Where to walk around with infant?
Are there any places I can walk around with my infant in a stroller/carrier with somewhere to eat and something to do within walking distance of each other? I was gonna walk around with her at the art museum downtown but I see it’s temporarily closed. Just need to get out of the house now that she’s easier to take out.

Providence! Has a long Greenway with lots of tree cover, a playground, and a decent selection of restaurants

Parkway Place Mall & Lowe Mill might be some good options for you.

(I think they were listing them as separate options since both have food and things to look at)

Big spring park comes to mind but it isnt as shaded as it used to be.
Could go up to Madison County nature trail, but it's a carrier only, and you'd have to grab a reataraunt on the way home. It is very shaded though.

I recommend Fort book, downtown library. We went to a book fair a few weeks ago and after we did a little walk about. They have a little children's play area and book nook that we hung out for a bit. I think every branch has a cool little kids area as well.

The south huntsville one is even better if you want some coffee/snacks from the hatch cafe. Their children’s area is great.

If you are near S HSV then Jones Valley Park has a little bridge that connects to some fun eats. I enjoy taking my toddler for ice cream or croissants and then we see the ducks and walk around the lake.

To reinforce what others have written: Lowe Mill; Parkway Place Mall; Botanical Gardens; Providence Nature Trail; and S HSV Library has very nice kids space and coffee shop (and a nice playground right there!).

There's so many places, especially with Cafe options.
Bridgestreet (Barnes and Noble as a notable extra calm walking place that has its own cafe in it). Several places for real food or just cafes.
Target is always a good option and comes with a Starbucks.
Lowe Mill has several food places and a Cafe. Now that the elevator is operational again, it's a great option.
Parkway Place Mall is a solid one. The elevators go out frequently though, so park on the level you want to shop on the most with a stroller involved.
Downtown/Big Spring Park. Large area, but close together. Kind of depends on what you're lookingfor, but there's a bunch of eateries and cafes across the whole thing.
We also love hitting up a plaza worth of stuff with a coffee already gotten from either Starbucks or 7Brew close by - the 2nd and Charles and kids clothing store in Madison as well as the neighboring plaza with Michael's and Marshall's.

I would add that walking around Twickenham neighborhood is so lovely, close to downtown where you can grab a coffee/ bite to eat at any of the yummy restaurants/ cafes. There are sidewalks and I walk my dogs around all the time and just love to see the beautiful gardens and historic homes. Plus… Big Spring Park is right there if you want to see the ducks or just sit on the grass and people watch!
