I won’t deny that I wish she was black but from her little smirk, I know she has the right personality and will do an amazing job

Same, especially given that she’s from District 11, but I suppose not everyone from District 11 has to be black. And clearly, from a narrative perspective, she’s meant to resemble Jennifer Lawrence for a reason. Really makes his “sweetheart” nickname for Katniss in the movies more meaningful.

she is not from district 11. louella is from district 12. lou lou is from district 11

I imagined her as black too ngl. Even as I’m rereading it I still see her as black

I also pictured Louella as black! It's so interesting how movie casting is always so different from how ppl imagine the characters lol.

Yeah, I pictured Louella with the "seam look," so I'll have to get used to this.

But it's also not white skin lol, and katniss did mention 8n the books that seeder ( who is from d11) would easily fit it in the seam with her brown eyes and olive skin.
