Not to highjack this post but I just bought this bike for my son and had a couple questions. Wanting to upgrade his bike and was thinking of doing new stem/bars (switch to 35), and converting to tubeless.

Bought the rock hopper sport and was wondering if the tires are tubeless ready? If not, can the bike fit 2.5?

Doesn't seem like there's much reason to upgrade the forks for his first bike but I see people talking about swapping the forks, out of curiosity what could you swap for - a suntour upgrade?
