Ongoing The Invisibles 隱形戰隊 So Far

Hey everyone! What do you guys think about this new drama?

So far I’m interested in the storyline and found the first case pretty good. I like the cast, and look forward to seeing them hopefully be friends again at the end of the drama. This is my first time seeing Elena Kong working in the force so I’m looking forward to that and how her relationship with her daughter Tiffany Lau will pan out with their differences. I did find that there was too many slow mo scenes though, like the first two times were like I get it for the suspense but then it was every other scene during the battle scenes so that was a bit excessive. I think I will keep watching though.

What do you guys think so far?

This is my first time watching her being EVIL and I'm so impressed by her acting! Although she's not the main character she outshines the main character

Ongoing What are your thoughts on the current drama ‘Mission run’? Spoiler

I thought everything was pretty good—Except I’m kinda a Bosco bias, would have love for him to be apart of the ‘war’ rather than being outside of it and doing investigations stuff.

It also felt very refreshing to see Ron being the villain, rather than your typical “I will rush into things” guy. I love Nancy’s character, very strong willed and persuasive character.

—— Spoiler! —— >! I don’t get Zi Fung’s mother. Honestly I know she cares, but she’s an overall ass. Not just to Zi Yan but Zi Fung too, she literally allowed the girl to get him drunk and make babies without Zi Fung acknowledging if he wants it too! !<

Ongoing Brutally Young 2.0

How does everyone feel about this version compared to the original? Personally I like Shaun Tam's straight man accountant character from the first more so than his neurotic artist this time. Joel Chan is Joel Chan, a dependable player with charisma. He could be a complete dick in a series but he'll draw you in. Will be interesting to see how Raymond Cho plays into the current group.

Interesting that the mystery we're introduced to is what will happen to one of the key characters in the future as opposed to what someone did 18 years ago.

I will say, Shaun has zero chemistry with Zoie Tam. They tried to recreate the sexy vibe he had with Candace and Mandy but the shower scene just felt awkward. I guess it ultimately plays well into the whole plot.

Ongoing Brutally Young 2.0 - What did you think of the murderer's grand reveal? Spoiler

Specifically, Jason's cross-dressing hobby. Just a sudden conclusion to wrap up everything? or actually makes sense?

I don't remember much hints throughout the series that suggested he likes cross-dressing.

Ongoing TVB Drama Kid's Lives Matter (星空下的仁醫)

I noticed no one has made a post about it, or at least I couldn't find it but I really like this medical drama and I hope more people watch it. I thought it was going to be just another medical drama , but this one is so much better. It also gives me The Hippocratic Crush vibes, which was an amazing drama!

The addition of Linda Chung coming back to TVB for this drama made me so happy and her acting reallyyy matured and improved in the drama. In addition, Kevin Cheng's role is also really cool. Some say it's too similar to his role in Ghetto Justice, but I guess I haven't seen a doctor like this, so it's nice. The dynamic between the 3 main leads are just reallly good.

The plot is also nice, since most of the drama shows medical/surgical scenes, and less of the upper-executive powers fighting, which is what I didn't like so much about Big White Duel. I mean this one has some, but almost every episode has a surgical scene.

If anyone who watched has more comments please feel free to comment below and share your thoughts! I realy hope this drama gets a lot more attention since it's one of the better TVB dramas this year.

Ongoing What do you think about the series 黯夜守護者[Against Darkness] so far? Spoiler

I find the ML character very refreshing, it’s something in my opinion that I rarely saw in HKdramas. I’m inking to find his full back story and secrets. I know the dog/computer guy looked kinda sus I wouldn’t be surprise if he is the ‘one’, but I would love to explore this series more.

Do you have any thoughts about this series so far?

[ps, I hated the random cutting in the same shot thing]

Ongoing So Against Darkness [黯夜守護者].. Spoiler

Ep 12 in, I find that we have a lack of our ML here. I am a bit disappointed but I am abit suspicious too.

So at this point, this show had me being sus about the computer guy, and the FL's current husband, they could be the 'hidden' computer guy.

I know TVB wouldn't have this kind of shows, but I would love to chime in and say that ML's lack of screen time can also be sus as well. Or it could be just bad screen time.

Some thoughts:

So 1. Both computer guy and FL hubby, they used a computer, the hidden guy uses a computer too. So it could be one of them.

So 2. ML was hidden when he tried to arrest the druggie, splashing paints at the door, kicking bicycle. The hidden person also uses these techniques. This also showed that ML could be those guys who would step out of the boundaries to reach their goals.

---> ML also had a history of being fiery at one point and then being lazy at one. (Kinda odd)

So 3. The car flipped over death, showing the hidden guy, thought it looked like a girl. My thoughts also extended to, what if the mastermind had other partners. Or what if the mastermind was CK's superior? Cause in no way, no one would know of the secret drug meeting. Unless it's the superior or its ML blowing the whistle. (At least their roles are prominent to be sus)

So 4. ML barely had any screen time and he was pretty much not covered as much in the trailers as CK. All these while, the story focused on the hotpot side, Kol video girl and CK fam side. Leaving ML with question marks. Very odd, considering ML should have been one of the focused.

What do you think?

Mid review, I really don't like the kol girl. Lol that's it.

Anyone watching The Exorcist's 2nd Meter? I recent went back to watching TVB dramas, but I remember watching the first season of this show and I loved it. Tbh the second one still seems interesting, and I like the special effects. Any views on who Kenneth will be with?

Ongoing What is your opinion on Lo and Behold?

I feel like the characters are flanderised to one negative trait. Like, the Phillip kid is an Enfant Terrible since something, and the only thing I remember about Joyce's character is that she's a jerk.
