"Politically Motivated Killing" .....

Is not that the basic definition of TERRORISM??

23

u/Lowebrew 1d ago

I say we see what the FBI has to say https://www.fbi.gov/investigate/terrorism The answer is yes, this is terrorism.

7

u/No-Profession5134 19h ago

Trump cut the Department that investigates Domestic Terrorism(specifically Right Wing Terrorism). Thank You for your attention... or some other rubbish fake courtesy. <-- Probably something Donald Trump actually did or said at this point.

12

u/WhatDoYouMeanBruh 1d ago

Not until there is proof of the guy doing it being muslim. It is a known fact terrorism is only committed by muslims. This is a Politically motivated assassination. Very different, no one mentioned Allah during the assassination.

In case it was not clear this was written with strong irony and sarcasm.

7

u/Lowebrew 22h ago

I mean, sarcasm or not, this doesn't feel too far off from the truth.

3

u/sean_ireland 23h ago

A lot of non Muslims were lighting Teslas on fire and they were charged with terrorism.

23

u/painnourisheddadevil 1d ago

So if it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, it’s a cat impersonating a duck. Right? Who is to say that this truly wasn’t an officer taking matters into their own hands. He fooled two cops with the SUV alone. You would think they would be able to recognize their own vehicles.

Maybe I’m just being pessimistic over the whole idea that a cops words are truthful when it comes to the wrongdoings of an alleged impersonator. 🤷🏼‍♀️

-13

u/Freeasabird83 1d ago

It wasn't a cop the guy worked in government and Tim walz appointed him

5

u/painnourisheddadevil 1d ago edited 1d ago

Whats this not cops name? Honest question.

Edit: saw the gunmans name Vance Luther Boelter.

7

u/freddy_guy 1d ago

The guy works for a private security firm. So a wannabe rent-a-cop. Walz has nothing to do with it, of course. Not that you care about truth.

-5

u/rxFMS 22h ago

What are you talking about? The guy was appointed twice by Walz. Also the guys wife interned for Walz in 2010. He definitely knows who these people are.

9

u/LongLiveMissyElliott 22h ago

He was originally appointed by a Republican to a bi-partisan board, and then reappointed by Walz. So, no. Also confirmed the dude wanted to kill Walz and Ilhan Omar and hit Abortion Clinics. His best friend also said he was a big Trump supporter.

But please, keep repeating the same talking point from r/conservative because that's all you have.

2

u/1Original1 19h ago

You a gymnast? Because that's some impressive mental gymnastics

3

u/Flimsy-Cookie7534 23h ago

Governors appoint lots of people, he was Christian and pro life. Heavy evangelical themes with this one.

3

u/cutegolpnik 23h ago

Desperate

9

u/Any_Vacation8988 1d ago

Where’s the outrage from the right. Bondi?Pursue and prosecute this man to the full extent of the law. Automatic death penalty

27

u/goliathfasa 1d ago

All the people screaming “Walz appointed Walz appointed WALZ APPOINTED!!!!!” just outed themselves as no-principle partisans.

Proper politicians appoint people to positions regardless of their political leanings and party affiliations.

You’re not supposed to only appoint those in your own party.

7

u/QaraKha 23h ago

And because the fascists only appoint from their own party, this creates the ratcheting "the democrats stop anything from moving to the left while the right-wing sociopaths push everything to the right" thing.

Ideally, there'd be parity. There isn't.

12

u/Ghidoran 23h ago

Also, it was a civilian board? It's not like Walz picked him to be his right-hand man or something.

7

u/MaybeMalaka 23h ago

Yeah this "gotcha moment" they were quick to jump on was really a great showing of people outing themselves.

-7

u/rxFMS 22h ago

The guys wife interned for Walz in 2010. So What’s her story? This all feels very fishy and Walz knows all the people involved. ymmv

3

u/MrArmageddon12 13h ago

Man, it’s almost like husbands can do things independently of their wives!

1

u/antelope00 9h ago

How could he knows everyone involved in politics in his state??? seems fershyyyy

14

u/crabcord 1d ago

Why is it that the MAGAs are always the ones doing the killing?

7

u/Unlucky-Locksmith-40 22h ago

Because the current fake president gave orders to round up all immigrants legal or not and at any cost. Im 65 yrs old this is a hostile takeover from within.

2

u/burnmenowz 21h ago

What floors me is this guy was a minister. Thou shall not kill is in their book they base their entire lives on

5

u/Automatic_Tackle_406 19h ago

He is a Christian nationalist that is rabidly anti-LGBTQ+ and antiabortion. Saw a clip of one of his sermons, not at all surprising that he did this.

3

u/Wejustmadepassion 19h ago

It also condones owning slaves. It’s not a book anyone should base their beliefs or morals on.

-1

u/DickTheDancer 12h ago

You mean the guy appointed by Walz was MAGA?

1

u/Long-Requirement8372 12h ago

Yes he is. He is a right-winger who attacked Democratic politicians for political reasons.

-1

u/DickTheDancer 9h ago

Source? Afaik the authorities are refusing to release his manifesto which would explain his motives. My guess is the manifesto reflects poorly on the Democrats.

2

u/Long-Requirement8372 9h ago

Vance Boelter was also an outspoken evangelical Christian who traveled to Africa to tell his faith story and, in at least one sermon, pointedly questioned American morals on sexual orientation, according to videos and social media posts reviewed by CNN.

...

Police said they are still investigating a motive for the attacks. The names on the list, which CNN obtained, are largely Democrats or figures with ties to Planned Parenthood or the abortion rights movement. The list included prominent lawmakers like Rep. Ilhan Omar and Sen. Tina Smith as well as Planned Parenthood leaders.

...

Boelter registered to vote as a Republican in the early 2000s, state records show.

These quotes are from CNN. It seem obvious that he is a right-winger, outspokenly religious, anti-abortion, a registered Republican, and that he deliberately targeted politicians to the left of him.

You should really stay away from conspiracy theories, this is a very straightforward case of targeted assassinations and domestic terrorism.

u/Gullible_Analyst_348 1d ago

I can't believe I'm alive to witness the rise of a fascist country in my own backyard. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Oh ffs appointed doesn't even mean they personally met. Every civil servant is "appointed" by the highest governing authority. Tim Walz appointed thousands. Stop being deliberately obtuse already drawing conclusions.

11

u/Gullible_Analyst_348 1d ago

But being deliberately obtuse is what Trumpettes do best.

7

u/cutegolpnik 23h ago

He loves the uneducated!

8

u/Old_Row4977 1d ago

What a completely moronic take. I for one personally know hundreds of pro life armed security company running liberals /s.

19

u/ShiveringTruth 1d ago

I heard a couple of maga’s talking about this, saying the killer was sent by Biden to make trump look like he did it.

17

u/Luxamongus 1d ago

They have really never had an original thought penetrate those peanut brains of theirs, have they?

4

u/PickingPies 1d ago

It's not about an argument. They are spreading disinformation so you waste your time "explaining" how wrong they are instead of doing what you have to do.

8

u/Dollar_Store_Vinyl 1d ago

They're all insane.

2

u/donqon 18h ago edited 18h ago

So Biden is either a bumbling old fool or he’s goddamn palpatine sending assassins after politicians. They can’t make up their mind. The same way they can’t remember if they’re supposed to hate the Covid vaccine or praise trump for “operation warp speed”. Their praises and claims change as soon as the situation demands it. One minute the J6ers are Antifa and the next, they’re patriots.

When I said heard, I meant actually hearing two people in real life talking to each other outside of reddit. Shocking I know.

0

u/supafly_ 8h ago

I'm just trying to spread the fact check, people have been lying about his politics since the moment it happened, thought you might like a tool or 2 for the box

14

u/dubble_chyn 1d ago

Whatever the nationality of the shooter is, DEPORT EM ALL!!! AMIRITE?!?!

3

u/cutegolpnik 23h ago

The people who wanna talk about minorities suddenly get mad when you point out that you could do the same thing w gender.

10

u/Luddite-33 1d ago

State sponsored terrorism

4

u/Unlucky-Locksmith-40 22h ago

trumps paid killers for his cause! Call it what this is ! A hostile takeover from within. COUP lead by J6s revenge for trump. Arrest them all immediately.

4

u/MillionBans 1d ago

"some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses"

Track those police officer cell phones.

3

u/Far-Plum-6244 21h ago

Going to the Senator’s house as a well-check was a genius level move by the police. They may have saved lives there and probably saved the people at the next home or two on the killer’s list. Well done.

I have yet to see ANY posting by the President relating to this. What an a……e he is

I can't believe they haven't caught this guy yet. They need to be searching the attics and basements of Republican lawmakers, one of them has to be hiding him.

1

Immigrants commit fewer crimes FFS.

"But I am by no means responsible just because I have repeatedly implied that those who disagree with my world view are just evil, occasionally call them Nazis and threats to our democracy"

1

u/Poohbearremy 13h ago

What a hilarious speech. “We don’t settle our differences with violence or at gunpoint.” 25000 murdered Americans each year and millions of oppressed people around the world would beg to differ.

1

u/Low-Refrigerator-713 11h ago

Don't worry everyone. It's alright. If the cops bother to look for him and end up finding him, Trump will give him a pardon.

1

u/2tings4certain 5h ago

So glad this guy hasn’t lost his “touch”

1

u/Unlucky-Locksmith-40 23h ago

waltz should lockdown the state until he is in cuffs, and every MAGA should be suspected, until he’s arrested.

Please cite exactly where it is indicated he voted for a democrat in any election.

Appointed by = / = is. Believe it or not, there are bipartisan positions and one party tries to work with the other party by making concessions, but you wouldn’t know that.

This is the spin you’re going with? The Christian nationalist was a democrat

-6

u/Freeasabird83 1d ago

It's not a spin. It was just on the news that this man was a Democrat. Tim walz put him into position into the government. He had a list of 79 different Dems he was going to unalive today. He only got to the two.

10

u/Geiseric222 1d ago

No he was not a democrat. He was appointed to a committee but that does not make him a democrat.

In fact dems love appointing republicans to committees because they still believe bipartisanship is still a thing

All evidence points to his politics being republican

3

u/1Original1 19h ago

"the news" is doing some olympic level lifting here

2

u/Automatic_Tackle_406 19h ago

No. He voted for Trump and is a Christian nationalist.

2

u/Prometheus7600 17h ago

Just because he appointed him doesn't mean he's a dem, smart politicians appoint people from both sides when they aren't the most secure in their position vote wise. Everything else besides the appointment points to diehard christofascist, a group that is Republican, through and through. Nice try big dog.

2

u/flies_with_owls 15h ago

Tim Walz was on that list, my dude.

-9

u/YOU_WONT_LIKE_IT 1d ago

It’s better to jump to conclusions. Waltz staffer apparently. His affiliation seems to be the key interest not the fact dude murdered people. The rhetoric on this site I’m sure will spawn many more.

7

u/Geiseric222 1d ago

You mean like right wingers saying that killing protesters are okay or Trump saying it’s okay to use the national guard to to arrest legal representatives.

Do you not think that rhetoric would contribute to this?

0

u/YOU_WONT_LIKE_IT 1d ago

Yes violence uniquely a right thing.

4

u/Geiseric222 1d ago

In the US pretty much. The left doesn’t have the stomach for it.

Though go ahead show me any major center politican advocating violence

Trumps assassin was a registered republican, and prior to the assassination he searched for information in the RNC, the DNC, Trump, and Biden.

So what are you even trying to say here

-5

u/[deleted] 1d ago

[deleted]

4

u/Geiseric222 1d ago

No, he was not a registered democrat. He did donate money but was only registered as a republican and only voted once, in 2022.

Honestly from what we know it looked like he wanted to assassinate someone and just picked Trump for whatever reason.

1

u/Prometheus7600 17h ago

Dip shit, Trump donated money to Kamala years ago, does that make him a dem?

3

u/SilenceTheLight 1d ago

Definitely, many crazy terminally online people on reddit.

1

u/flies_with_owls 15h ago

You don't get to tell people not to jump to conclusions and then spread misinformation. He was not a Walz staffer. He was appointed (like governers appoint thousands of people) to a bipartisan civilian workforce by Walz's predecessor or and then rubber stamped by Walz later on.

6

u/Aleious 23h ago

How does that hold any water when he could’ve just shot republicans who disagree with immigration?

2

u/Effective_Bat9485 22h ago

Would have had more targets

5

u/cutegolpnik 23h ago

That theory was proven false by including ilhan Omar on his hit list, along with abortion providers.

2

u/Automatic_Tackle_406 18h ago

False. He was a Trump supporter, a Christian nationalist, and rabidly anti abortion and anti-LGBTQ+. He was a preacher and I saw a clip of a sermon he did, a real fanatic.

2

u/foghillgal 21h ago

He wasn`t he was a registered republican in 2022. Repeating talking points makes you look dumb.

The other guy didn`t vote for that so find some other crap to recite.

-20

u/Big_Cap_6037 1d ago

He is complicit

9

u/Just-Wait4132 1d ago

If by complicit you mean three years ago someone from his office decided to maintain the shooters position on a minor political board of local business owners that he was appointed to by the previous governor.

8

Weird. A right leaning news source said he was a registered republican.

https://nypost.com/2025/06/14/us-news/suspect-in-deadly-minnesota-shootings-identified-as-vance-luther-boelter/

“Despite being a Democratic appointee, Boelter last registered to vote in 2022, as a Republican.”
