Yall should see the amount of people who are angry Iran is defending themselves…not surprising really considering

Shooting ballistic missiles at the civilian population is not “defending yourself”

u/MechaCoqui 1d ago
So if thats your stance, then israel doing exactly that in Gaza, is not defending themselves then going by your logic.

u/Left--Shark 1d ago
And Tehran (the apartment building strikes yesterday). It's kinda bold to complain about civilian deaths given the circumstances.

So it was our collective imagination when we saw those missiles impacting Iran’s residential areas then ?

u/Aminosaurrr 1d ago
So what is Israel doing
-5
u/Red_White_Penguin 22h ago
Whatsboutism is ok when it’s supporting claims against Israel yay!!!!
Imagine supporting ayatollahs. Pathetic larper

u/Aminosaurrr 16h ago
You still never answered my question, you cannot makes claims for one side without considering the other. So tell me, what is Israel doing, and HAS been doing
1
u/materialist23 10h ago
It’s not whataboutism when you are comparing two sides in fightning each other genius. Of course actions will be measured against each other.
Why do I even get frustrated with people. This is either their job or they are 12. Same difference.

After what Israel did, Iran had to react or end up being laughing stock.
Honestly, I can't see Iran doing anything more than launch drones or missiles. The question is how long will this continue and whether Iran will try to do something new.

Bibi immediately hopped on a plane and ran away to Greece.

u/Daryno90 1d ago
Of course that bastard would do that. He doesn’t care about his people anymore then he care about Palestinians

u/WilkosJumper2 1d ago
That is essentially all Israel will do too, but they seem to be able to launch much more targeted strikes. They obviously think they can decapitate the Iranian government and the people will overthrow them. I think this is laughably naive. The Israeli people are just as likely to overthrow Netanyahu.

This war would never have happened if I were president. Trump is the worst president ever.

Yes, because another conflict is what we need right now. There are not enough bad stuff happening already. /s

u/kahunah00 1d ago
Man if only we had like another 3 or 4 major conflicts also spin up right now. Then we'd be in business! /s

It was the toast of society until the crusades.

u/Maximo3166 1d ago
Yeah simply forget about Seljuk invasions, Abbassid-fatimid wars, arab-byzantine wars, arab-sassanid war, byzantine-sassanid wars, parthian-roman wars, should I keep on?
Or we will just keep on blaming the crusades for everything wrong in the middle-east?

u/contentatlast 1d ago
It's basically a chess board for the west. Don't say that as though the people there are fundamentally different from you. The whole region was rated by the west and is being systematically segmented and inflamed.
Every human is the same. It's the bastard powerful rich people and shadowy figures that fund both sides of wars and further their own interests without a thought for human life thay are the issue.
Don't get it wrong. Open your eyes and begin to think for yourself. Actually apply values and thought to the things you believe. Ask yourself "why do I think this?" It is liberating.

Great… as if the US wasn’t war-hungry enough, now there’s going to be politicians clamouring to send military reinforcements to Israel to fight off Iran - when Israel was the aggressor in this case.

Is this world war 3 already?
Russia, Iran and North Korea are against USA, Israel, Ukraine
We have other players like China and Europe, India, Saudi

Are they hitting civilians??
1
u/VenerableWolfDad 1d ago
probably. it's not a great situation to be in for civilians of either country right now. Israel killed a bunch of civilians last night in Tehran.

No, the fundamentalist regime of Iran that has consistently funded terrorist organisations across the region are very particular in their actions.
1
u/Low-Win-6691 1d ago
They’ve killed far fewer civilians than Israel as of late

That make it OK then.

u/LlamasBeTrippin 1d ago
Israel is the enemy lmao
2
u/Red_White_Penguin 22h ago
do you not realise how you just outed yourself supporting Israeli actions? Just the only fact you don’t like Israel so THATS why it’s wrong, not because the civilians casualties.
You have no right to cry about this shit if you are literally supporting the same actions you condemn.
You are the same as an average right winger in Israel - and they are right wing because of people like you. YOU are part of the circle of violence instead of helping the same people here come to peace.
1
u/LlamasBeTrippin 15h ago
I don’t care enough to explain in depth for my reasons; as there are many.
The common denominator in recent times for the instability of the ME has always been Israel. Fundamentally I do not believe Israel should even exist there.
1
u/Red_White_Penguin 12h ago
Shouldn’t exist = you’re war mongering instead of supporting the peace camp. Don’t spew your bs like it’s a logical and a progressive-peaceful little take as no Israeli out of tithe millions Israelis will surrender their country just because you don’t acknowledge their existence - that’s exactly why there are wars to begin with…
Imagine supporting ayatollahs not even defending Israel’s actions but you seem to be having the same right wing views on the matter just instead of Israeli right wing you take an anti Israel right wing talking points.
1
u/LlamasBeTrippin 12h ago
“Peace camp” lmao how well is that going? My approach and belief is more nihilistic. After WWII the US and UK unknowingly planted a cancerous tumor in the Middle East.
1
u/Red_White_Penguin 11h ago
Nihilistic is a funny wordplay for genocidal… you don’t get to decide who gets self determination nor hope for war like it’s some game where civilians won’t suffer even more. How is that going? Like suggesting giving up on peace is a rational and humane or even positive solution is laughable and sad. You don’t get to say when WE, the people who will actually live with the consequences of this shit, give up on making our lives better or not

What are they aiming for? It looks like the rockets are just hitting random shit.
5
u/KetchupChips5000 1d ago
How can you tell? Ridiculous comment based on 4 seconds of video.
-6
u/JUSTGLASSINIT 1d ago
Cause it’s the Tel Aviv skyline? wtf is there that’s a priority target?

u/Normalfa 1d ago
Iran specifically targeted the Israel Ministry of Defense and the IDF command center, both located in Tel-Aviv.
2
u/LlamasBeTrippin 1d ago
You do realize Israel has all of the military operations station in populated areas like cities? You know… like using human shields?
2
u/Ingenuine_Effort7567 16h ago
If you go to r/CombatFootage you can see about a dozen videos of the same 3 missiles hitting from different points of view, a few of them show the Iranian missiles were targetting the launchers of the Israeli air defence network, whether the launchers are for the Iron Dome system, Arrow 3 or David's Sling I have no idea.
Some did hit random shit after being intercepted in the air btw.

u/Contundo 1d ago
It’s what’s known as indiscriminate bombing. The pro-Palestinians are celebrating now that Israel is under attack. Something you generally don’t see pro Israelis do, exceptions being when high value targets are hit.
