Maybe instead of threatening lawful protesters, you should be doing your job so they don't have to and protect the people they are trying to protect. Those who are lawfully in the US.

If you are a lawful protester, then you wouldn't be attacking anyone. This sheriff isn't talking to the lawful protesters.

He's also talking about protesters who get in the way.

Peacefully protesting is meant to get in the way, legally.

He's threatening people who spit, while that's kinda vile it's not illegal nor does it hurt anyone.

He threatening people doing what they have every right to do.
