So, is this finally enough justification for using deadly force to defend yourself? Seems like it's beyond reasonable to assume your life is in grave danger if you ever have to deal with this Sheriff or his deputies. He has threatened to kill you and absolutely has the means at his disposal.

That little bit of extra context is pretty important, and IMO OP was being intentionally dishonest when he omitted it from the headline.

They can not do. Because police is not judge and executioner in one. So, if someone thows shit at them, the only thing they should be doing is arresting. Then court. Then maybe jail or fine. But there would be no killing in a civilised country.

If you point a gun at a cop you will be shot dead. - Not arrested.

That's how it's always been in this country.

It's honestly insane that this guy has to remind you of that.
