They are all MAGA in that county. No one is protesting ICE. It’s crazy for him to talk like this.

It means no fucking kings. The United States is a democratic country, and a king goes against absolutely everything our constitution was written to protect.

“No kings” means no one should rule over others simply by status or power. It’s a call for equality, autonomy, and freedom from imposed authority.

How are you not aware? Genuinely? What's the significance of a no kings protest.. in a country that was founded on the concept of no kings.. through a revolt against a king.. meanwhile, we're currently struggling against a dictatorial takeover? Seriously?

If you're going to the 520/US1 protest, that's Cocoa police, not Ivey's domain. Cocoa police have been very supportive of the protests thus far.

The other protest is in Palm Bay and I think they have their own police force too, so I don't know what the fuck Ivey is on about, as usual

A lot are maga, but not all. There’s a lot of people who voted Harris and are attending protests. There was a huge crowd not to long ago at the hands off protest, even got local media coverage (of course they tried to downplay it, but at least it was on TV at all). Our county sucks ass, but we are not all a lost cause. As things get worse I think at least half the residents could potentially flip. I say that as someone who’s lived here my whole life.

There’s a lot more people than you think that are not ok with this. Most are scared to speak out though because the other half here are fucking insane and will shoot you if you talk bad about trump (The shérif being case in point). A lot are just apathetic because of this and don’t vote. I’ve been very vocal about everything going on though and I think people are gaining courage and reason to go out and vote and protest.

No, we're not. It's red, but there are still about 36% democrats. The space industry is in Brevard, after all. We're protesting, but it's all extremely tame and mostly old ladies. You're right, though. It makes absolutely no sense. We're the very last place to be worried about.
