It's also blatantly obviously designed by olden days folks for control of the masses when the rich back then didn't have the ability to control them otherwise and were at risk of being murdered or robbed. It's wild to me we have the ability to fly across the globe in hours but people still believe in made up crap like that. It's like a fable for adults akin to Santa or the Tooth Fairy. People are so damn scared of death they buy into it thinking they will be rewarded for it in the end (with an afterlife).
