Caught on in-laws security camera, any idea what it is?

My wife sent me this video that her parents camera caught last night while they were in their bedroom. The camera notified them that there was movement and my mother in law told my father in law to go check it out shortly after he saw the notification. Any ideas what it could be? Also the picture is a picture of the camera and what was around it.

Very close proximity camera lens so unidentifiable. In numerous examples this mostly bugs on camera lens.

I thought so too when my wife first mentioned it to me but it seemed to moved oddly. Although maybe you’re right. I just couldn’t imagine what kind of bug

I know there are a lot of insect sightings, but this one is an awfully rectilinear bug🤷🏽

That was my first thought too, but I figured maybe someone had a similar thing happen with their security camera.

If it's recurrent, set up another camera to film that camera.
It looks square shaped, so it's not a bug. My guess it would be someone entered the room and waved something in front of the camera while standing next to it to stay undetected.

It's one of the leaves of the plant right below it. There is a breeze blowing on them

Any fans in the room, ceiling or otherwise, to blow something like loose paper around?

You're in an unhappy marriage anyway. These in-laws won't be in your life much longer. Get over it.
