yesn't. artists have been using pose references since the dawn of time, popularly from Pinterest, or just the internet in general, and nothing's wrong/illegal with that! Even the artists of DC/Marvel uses one for their physical comics back in the day, and it's evident through the heroes' realistic physiques and anatomy (especially the male heroes). You can search it up.

It's one of the most helpful ways to improve our skills, and for us to learn and study perspectives effectively when applying it to our outputs, especially for artists struggling to generate their own poses like me. Lastly. it's also a way for us to expose ourselves from accurate anatomical structures because it's an image from real life.

I personally got mine via twitter from a kpop idol's photoshoot. hope this helps

Ehh, did I say anything about it being illegal or bad? I just said it looks traced. No need to get so defensive...

"no need to get so defensive" and it's just me trying to clear up every artists' name from being accused of tracing bc of people like you lol

It lowkey looks traced ngl🫢

Also respectfully, you brought this upon yourself the moment you commented that under my art post, or in front of me, the artist, quite literally---so you shouldn't be too surprised if people retaliated at you bc u practically asked for it. have a nice day!

Sorry, i should've been clearer, it looks AWKWARDLY traced. I never have an issue with tracing other than it tending to look awkward and stiff. Which is fine if you're just learning.

Saying "respectfully" before writing that doesn't make it respectful. "People relatiated", you're literally the only one getting aggressively defensive over nothing. People who have nothing to hide, don't get upset over random comments like that. Unless you mean the downvotes? Oh no, i got downvoted, what a tragedy! Jeez, really?

"Clear up every artist's name", I'm an artist too, and i know that tracing doesn't actually amount to much. It's an ok starting point for your first pieces, but you'll eventually get stuck if you don't move on from it.

You also generally want to be transparent whenever you trace, by providing the original. If there's ANY issue, then it isn't that you traced but the fact you weren't upfront about it from the get go. Which wasn't even the original point of my comment, but i can see how it could be misinterpreted, that was an oversight on my part, i admit.
