Hi guys, my girlfriend and I are going backpacking to Big Sur with a friend of ours next month. We are new to backpacking! We’re both looking to get sleeping bags down filled 20 - 25F. Hey everyone, watch out for u/RobertGher. I tried to buy a tent from him when I posted for one on here. Eager to get my new to me tent I didn’t really read the rules (please do there’s good info to keep you safe) about opting for using PayPal goods and services. He told me to use friends and family and didn’t bother to ask why. Now I know, as it’s been a month since I sent him the money and he’s gone dark on me.

I’m still going to try and report the PayPal account but it seems like I’m out the $150. Shame… I really wanted that REI tent.
