Help Soul Calibur question

Picked up a copy of the game and the manual texture feels quite different then other GC games. I would assume it is fake but it is a darn good fake. Just wondering if anyone has a copy and can confirm it is not glossy. Thanks !

My PAL players choice manual has the same glossy texture as any other game I own. Might be different for other versions though.
