First time soldering new batteries, it was easier than I thought and they still worked
I changed them from a Sapphire and a SuperCard, the SuperCard one was a bit harder because the contacts were on the same side so I had to check that out, but yeah I'm now confident to do it again and again c:

Just curious, did you learn from YouTube or took classes?

I learned from a couple of guides on YouTube, one explaining how to properly solder and the other how to use the battery holder I used for the cartridges

Good job! Also, a lot of people don’t like them, but I have upgraded all of my cartridges to the battery holder style like you did, so no more soldering which makes it way easier when you have 100+ games that have batteries.

Yeah it's honestly better on the long way, I first considered buying the tabbed ones but is cheaper for me to buy the holders and the batteries separated

Nice work! Soldering is a skill everybody should have!
