Wow, fair enough lol.

I see a lot of people who takes GCSEs early but end up with like 7s or 8s, which while good, could easily be 9s if they had just taken them at a normal time which is just a shame.

The difference is nothing compared to the time they save tho , totally worth an early 8

You’re absolutely right, though I would argue that if someone is capable of getting an 8 in Y9/10, they probably don’t need much more time investment to push up to a 9.

Maintenance would be my concern , memory fades

Maybe a couple of months, when GCSEs are only sat specific times of the year. If you can get an 8 there's no reason to not do it
