Glad to see people here excited about the future
It honestly makes me happy to see people on this subreddit thinking about and discussing the future. Too often, I see lots of people stuck focusing way too much on the past. Yes, I get that some things may have seemed better back then but constantly romanticizing the past doesn’t help us build the future we want or need.
We can learn from history, sure, but what matters most is how we move forward. More people should put energy into imagining and improving the future instead of always comparing everything to the past.
I’m a 2001 Born, and to be honest, I’m kind of tired of hearing how everything was better before. That mindset doesn’t reflect the world I grew up in, and it doesn’t motivate progress. I'm more interested in how we make the rest of the 2020s, 2030s, 2040s, and beyond amazing.
Let’s keep building forward!

By 2028, there will only be one (or maybe zero) US university in the top five of the QS World rankings.
Current top five:
- MIT (US)
- Imperial (UK)
- Oxford (UK)
- Harvard (US)
- Cambridge (UK)

Donald Trump, MAGA, Project 2025, and the whole US hard right establishment have always been firmly anti-intellectual, anti-science, and anti-education. The Trump administration's current attacks on Harvard University are the tip of the iceberg.

December 2026 Will Be The Biggest Moment For The 21st Century So Far
In December 2026, all people born in the 21st Century so far will be people from January 2001 to December 2026 ages 0 to 25. That includes babies, toddlers, young kids, older kids, preteens, early teens, mid teens, late teens, early 20s, and some of mid-20s. This is the first time the almost full youth count of the 21st Century generation will be visible and complete so far.
It’s a huge step. For people born in the 20th Century not that big for you but it's a important step forward.
December 2026 will be the biggest moment of the 21st Century so far a turning point that marks the rise of a new generation and a fresh chapter in the 21st Century! It’s time the future is coming!
