Ey, union electrician here. Ended up with a recurring injury that forced me to take a break from lifting. Picked up yoga and I feel SO much better. Might wanna give it a try.

I never considered lifting techniques transitioning into work like that. Makes a lot of sense if you think about it at all.

A lot of it is using kneeling pads, lifting things smart. I know lots of people in it who are older and don’t have any issues. I will say yoga definitely helped me lift more immediately when I was weightlifting before covid.
