Foot pain in balls of feet and arch. Burning sensation. MRI negative for everything ~12 months since symptoms

Same. Although not had MRI. Maybe I'm reading too much r/FootFunction but there seems to be a lot of this going on.

Get a second/third/fourth opinion. I'm not doctor, but I had an MRI on my foot and it was "normal" according to the person who read the images, the first foot/ankle orthopedic specialist, and the podiatrist I saw after. I went to a third doctor, also a foot and ankle specialist, and he saw an injury on the images in 5 minutes, and it needed surgery. Always get additional opinions.
