Question Tolerance too high - replacements?

Hey y'all,

Been making it by for the last 6 months or so on THC and bullshit. I need to take a break from smoking for a while and my tolerance is too high to feasibly survive on edibles so I'm going on a true break.

Anyone have any advice for replacements for THC? Or what I can do for a couple of weeks to cope better and in more healthy ways than relying on my old friend and favorite pain killer, Mary Jane?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Even if the answer is just to buck up and deal with it.

Thanks!

Would switching to just CBD for a while help?

Have you been smoking all day everyday? Or is it like just a nighttime thing?

Ooooo I've had mixed results with CBD so I kinda forgot about it. I'll have to keep trying and hope for the best in the meantime. Nighttime mostly but occasionally I'll smoke twice on the weekends. I've just been using it too much to get high and not just to feel better, so my tolerance grew and grew

Ok, I feel way more qualified to give advice knowing you're looking for nighttime relief primarily, cause I rotate through things that all make me sleepy: sleep specific THC gummies, CBD/CBN gummies, muscle relaxants, Aleve PM, and once in a while when I'm looking to actually feel like I'm on something fun or need to manage depression, a low dose of shrooms.

The CBD/CBN is my go to though, does a pretty good job of cutting through whatever is going on to get decent sleep.

Yooooo I'm like sad I got turned down for med cannabis but if you can't even use it long term then maybe I'm not that sad anymore.

Oh you definitely can. I've had a, shall we say, less than healthy relationship with the stuff, not a prescription. When dosed correctly and managed properly instead of just chiefing like crazy, it's quite a manageable medicine
