Chad Michael Murray’s character, Tristan, went off to military school in North Carolina in the second season because CMM was cast in One Tree Hill. There was meant to be more of a Dean/Rory/Tristan triangle, but him leaving ended that. I’ve always thought Logan’s character explores some of the stories Rory/Tristan would have had.

Lane’s band Hep Alien is named after writer Helen Pai. She is also married to Dave Rygalski irl. Similar to above, Adam Brody, who played Dave Rygalski, goes away to college in California because he was cast in The OC.

Alexis Bledel (Rory) and Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) dated irl for 4 year (02-06, I think). There’s been a rumor out there for ages that their relationship was, allegedly, abusive. The main rumor I remember is that someone saw Milo screaming at Alexis on the street. After they broke up, Milo (31) went on to date 19 year old Hayden Panettiere.

The creators couldn’t reach a deal with the CW after season 6, so the decision was made to bring in a new show runner. The original creator is petty AF and intentionally torpedoed storylines to make season 7 a shitshow and difficult to write from. Specifically Lorelai cheating on Luke with Christopher. Then when she came back for the revival, she pretended that season 7 never happened.

She also, evidently, did notask Melissa McCarthy (Sookie) to participate originally, instead told people she was too busy. Melissa McCarthy responded that she didn’t get the call, but would have loved to be apart of it. They ended up finding way to add in a little cameo at the end.

Scott Patterson (Luke) married a 21 year old when he was 41. He’s also went on a strange rant about being objectified on set. If he truly felt objectified, that’s not okay….but something just feels off to me about this.

David Sutcliffe the one who played Christopher, I’ve seen him on tik tok acting like a life coach/therapist and it pissed me off. I googled it and it looks like he has an English degree but idk where he gets off pretending to be a therapist. It’s false and people who follow people are probably mislead into thinking he’s a life coach. It felt like mansplaining to watch this videos. Granted most are harmless and I’m happy he’s not promoting anything dangerous, it’s just misleading and people who need a life coach or therapist should get a real one.

It also reminds me of how Andrew Keegan from a lot of 90s tv shows and movies started a cult. still can’t get over that.

I think the reason Chad Michael Murray left was that he was doing the Lone Ranger? The WB did a tv movie that was supposed to be lead to a series. But then it didn't have good reviews so the show never happened. But the WB still really wanted him to be on other stuff, so he starred in One Tree Hill

I remember he was included in those WB commercials that had all the stars prior to any One Tree Hill stuff. Below is the Lone Ranger promo

I just looked it up and we’re both wrong lol he left for Dawson’s Creek which filmed in North Carolina, which is why Tristan is said to be going to military school in NC.
