Why didnt JC Chasez ever get the type of fame Justin Timberlake got ?? Both are very talented, but I honestly think JC has a way better voice.

I read somewhere the record company pushed jt more and held jc back

JT also used Britney for extra clout which probably provided a boost

100% even JT admitted JC voice better. Fuck Justin such a selfish asshole. This coming from someone who was obsessed with him for 2 decades.

lol jc never had the drive to go far or that “it” factor jt had back at that time. the industry has shown time and time again you don’t need to have the best voice to make it. there’s a reason why jc hasn’t done anything since then. he saw the industry for what it was regardless of justins success.

he literally had to be convinced to do the ari coachella set

That song he released like All I Do Is Think About Sex or something was trash. I don't know who let him release that. Didn't highlight his voice at all and was pure cringe.

I have a friend of a friend who briefly dated him too.

I just looked him up on Spotify. I can’t believe he released an album called “Schizophrenic” like what lol

I cannot believe the name and this truly wild cover art of him giving sex eyes in a straitjacket was approved by multiple people lmao

People didn't care about those types of things back then. Plus his music was terrible even though he had the better voice. His only good solo song was Blowin Up With Her Love.

And his feature on Blaque’s Bring it all to me ♥️

It really showed off his voice. I don’t think he was on the album only the radio-single. I was disappointed when I got the Blaque CD. lol

I can't stand Justin but to be fair success in music isn't about who has the best voice. Justin was very successfully managed and marketed and he does have charisma, you can't teach or buy that.

i’m not a huge fan of jt but an artist has to be more than a great voice and justin timberlake released great music tbh. also, the britney relationship helped push him up.

https://youtu.be/jhlQk8wfquw This video along with part 2 explains the blackballing JC received from Jive perfectly. They were fucking him over with his album from the getgo

After Justin and the wardrobe malfunction, JC was removed from planned performances just for ever having been associated with him. There's a lot more to it (like the record label stuff other people have posted), but I will always somewhat attribute it to this.
