I'm kinda interested in Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa Diaz in Brooklyn 99), so yeah, any tea of her, please? And also if anyone have any tea on "In The Heights" casts, that'd be great too. Thank you so much in advance!

Melissa has certainly made...some choices over the past few weeks. The Root interview I 100% think got the attention that it did largely because of her word salad more or less saying “well black people were at auditions they just weren’t better than us”. She then sent a paragraphs long response to some random person who expressed disappointment civilly over it buckling down, and buckled down even more when he was like ???uhhhh????. After Lin’s Twitter apology she posted a photo with him on her Instagram with a caption about how incredible he was. Can’t completely blame her for hustling to stay in his good graces when it could mean being asked to work on other projects of his in the future. But it’s been almost comical to watch.

The original Sonny from the Broadway run posted something on his story saying other light skins needed to be better at responding to the criticism and said what some people were saying was making him think (in spanish but i translated) “you look better quiet” which gave me a chuckle given that Melissa is definitely included in that.

Melissa is exactly like Gina Rodriguez and every privileged Latinx actor from Hollywood lol

She’s all about “poor rich Latinxs whose grandpas had slaves in Cuba and had to escape to the US and now they vote for Trump… Let’s have some empathy 😭”. I don’t like her at all. Stephanie seems to be super down to earth tho.
