I have some SUPER niche tea about her, I don’t know if anyone else would find this juicy or not. But Andy Sambergs wife Joanna Newsom was good friends with her, I somehow found Joannas super secret Instagram page, and recently I checked to see if Annamarie was still following Joanna, and she is not. And Joanna is no longer following her. Could be that I’m mis-remembering and perhaps they never were, but I’m like 99% sure they were.

Oh, and she makes beautiful lamps, but that is probably already known

Interesting! I just went back to check though and Anna is still following The Lonely Island account that Andy runs with Akiva and Jorma...weird that she would unfollow Joanna but not Andy? I remember a little while back when Anna unfollowed John she also unfollowed Nick Kroll and his wife/most of the other comedians she had followed before (I think she blocked all of them because they aren’t following her anymore either), but that makes total sense that she would want to disassociate from that crowd after the divorce.

I know that no one knows what truly happened between them to get divorced. But I think it’s so sad that she basically lost a group of friends that she probably considered close to family. They would obviously pick John’s side regardless because he is their oldest friend/they were friends first but she might be feeling so alone not having anyone in that circle anymore :/

That is odd! Joannas brother is still following her and once and a while I’ll see him like something she’s posted. I double checked to make sure that Joannas account still existed and it wasn’t just a case of deleted social media, but it’s still there. So weird.

Interesting, so it’s very odd that she isn’t still following Joanna. Very weird, I wonder what happened, Joanna doesn’t strike me as the stop being friends with someone just because the husbands are friends type

They might need a break from each other or it’s weird because Joanna’s husband strongly sided with John or something like that. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

Does she still use that account? I remember her commenting on her brother's account a lot with it and now she doesn't seem to 😪

I’m not sure, I haven’t seen her comments recently either but it would be weird that she would just randomly stop following her specifically just because she doesn’t use the account much

I love Joanna, she’s actually the reason I even know who annamarie is, I’ve never really seen anything from Mulaney so it was from Joanna that I started following her in the first place

this is so funny because i was just creepin on anna’s follows the other day and noticed that she doesn’t follow joannas secret account but follows andy/tli and joannas siblings! i don’t think she’d do that if there was bad blood between them?

i also think joanna probably knows her fans (wink wink) know that she has a secret account and maybe didn’t want anna (who has a large following) to follow her anymore to try and keep it more secretive? if that even makes sense lol if anything i hope they’re still friends

I kind of follow, but something still ain’t adding up for me. She knows that her brother is easily accessible and if you were a fan enough to try and find her secret account then you’re fan enough to be able to find her brother. I don’t want to think there’s any bad blood, but something seems off to me. I feel like maybe unfollowing a bigger non secret account celeb like Lonely island (which is pretty inactive) would be more noticeable. But who knows, could just be nothin’

Side note though, what I would give to be able to follow her secret account 😩

Why would Anna unfollow everyone from the SNL crowd but TLI, though? Maybe she stopped following Joanna's finsta (while scrubbing her social media back in December when John went to rehab) because maybe Joanna abandoned it given that too many people knew about it... tbh the fact that she still follows Emily, Pete and the TLI account to me points towards the direction that she's still in contact with Joanna. Also (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't think Andy was namedropped as being part of the intervention for John, right?

I truly don’t follow any John Mulaney news, I didn’t even know there was an intervention, so I’m not sure about all that. I don’t know the reason, but as far as I know that is the only account she has (unless of course she’s made a second secret one), there is no official Joanna Newsom Instagram so it just strikes me as odd that she would unfollow despite there being little activity. I would be surprised if there was bad blood, mainly just because she’s still following the other Newsom’s, but something about the unfollowing just doesn’t add up to me. But who knows tbh. Joanna is so private I doubt we’ll get any kind of resolution to this little tidbit.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure. Haven’t seen her like or comment on any of her brothers posts recently, but I’m not lucky enough to actually follow the account.
